The World Peace Dances originated in the late 1960s by Samuel Lewis (Murshid SAM), a San Francisco Sufi and Zen teacher, and has since spread around the world. There are many centers in Europe, North and South America, Australia, New Zealand, and Russia. Drawing from the sacred phrases, scriptures, and poetry of the earth's diverse spiritual traditions, the Dances combine singing, music, and evocative movements into a vivid experience of unity, peace, and integration. This tasting of our true nature - as Universal Peace - opens up the possibility of a profound spiritual revolution in man.
Roxana will share her experience and understanding of dances as a spiritual path. In leading, she combines power with beauty, light, joy, and passion for life.
