Daniel Moński.

The origins of this vocal technique are lost in the fog of history. Nobody knows exactly when or where was created. This chant, associated with the Republic of Tuva, Mongolia and Tibet, has now become popular all over the world. Traditionally associated with shamanic songs and communicating with others worlds, with nature, thanks to groups like Huun Huur Tu also has its advantages as vocal experience. An experience that uniquely brings to the singer the ability to sing with (at least) two voices at the same time.

I came across this technique in the late 1990s, when I and a group of friends (now... respected ethno musicians) we tried to intuitively imitate these sounds. Later, fascinated by music, nature and people, I visited Tuva several times. I had the honor and pleasure of spending many hours professionally and privately with Kangar-Oll Ondar, musicians from Huun Huur Tu and young rebels from Alash Ensemble. I owe all my knowledge and fascination with throat singing to them and mine a long-time friend and partner in this fascination, Bart Pałyga.

I invite you to this world. Musical experience is not required. We will learn about the 3 main types of throat singing: kargyraa, homey and sygyt. Hear your voice like never before. Transform sound into music, connect with others with one voice
